Merging of Chuya and Katun rivers

Not far then three kilometres from our farm, two majestic rivers, two shrines of Gorny Altai, Chuya and Katun are connected, forming unique views. From ancient times the confluence of this two rivers is seen as sacred and respected place in Altai. This place even got its own name – “Chui-Oozy”, which is translated from the Altai “mouth of the Chuya River”. Since ancient times people were attracted to this place. The majestic rivers inspire and enchant.
